What we’re looking for:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Kubernetes Engineer with strong engineering skills and interest in cloud development. You will actively accompany and support our customers on their Container & AWS cloud journey. You enjoy working in a team on projects. On top of this, you have relevant consulting and implementation skills.
As a member of our focused, agile team, you will be responsible for architecture, design, implementation, and technology consulting for our customers on their journey into the cloud. Tasks include architecture development for Kubernetes & AWS customers as well as implementation projects in the area of DevSecOps.
Day to day:
Plan, lead, and implement Kubernetes-based infrastructure projects for our clients – from PoCs and migrations to Day 2 operations
Design, build, and operate modern cloud platforms on AWS with Kubernetes (EKS), Helm, and IaC tools (e.g. Terraform, Flux)
Containerize applications and develop resilient, scalable container environments
Guide and consult customers on Kubernetes architecture, operations, and cloud-native best practices
Develop Infrastructure-as-Code for Kubernetes and AWS environments
Write automation scripts and build self-healing, auto-scaling infrastructure components
Coach teams and clients on container security, GitOps, observability, and operational excellence
Collaborate with software engineers and cloud architects to support application modernization initiatives
Continuously evaluate and integrate new tools, frameworks, and Kubernetes-native technologies
Learn and grow as a Senior Kubernetes Engineer through hands-on work and knowledge sharing
Actively contribute to a high-trust engineering culture that values quality, documentation, and continuous improvement

Nice to have:
CKA or CKAD certification (CKS is a strong plus)
Several years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes (on-prem and AWS EKS) and container orchestration
Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, scalability, and load balancing on AWS
Practical experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using tools such as Helm, Terraform, and Flux
Solid understanding of container security concepts (e.g., Pod Security Policies, Network Policies, runtime protection)
Familiarity with CI/CD processes and automation frameworks (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins)
Passion for building and automating modern cloud-native platforms on AWS
Strong team spirit, reliability, and a customer-focused mindset
Some background information:
You need to be eligible to live and work in Switzerland.
Fluent German and English skills are required.
