Zurich-based cloud specialist receives Regional AWS Partner Award for growth, expertise and successful customer projects on AWS
Zurich, 1 September 2026 – copebit has been named AWS Consulting Partner of the Year 2026 for Switzerland. The Regional AWS Partner Award recognises companies that made an outstanding contribution to their customers' success with their AWS expertise over the past year and successfully grew their business with AWS.
The award was announced at the AWS Partner Summit. The Consulting Partner of the Year category recognises AWS Consulting Partners that stood out for their contribution to revenue growth, new customer projects, additional AWS-certified staff, and the AWS specialisations and designations they earned, among other criteria.
The award reflects copebit's consistent expansion of its AWS expertise and the successful delivery of demanding customer projects. copebit helps companies build, modernise and increasingly automate their infrastructure on AWS. The focus is not only on the technical migration to the cloud, but above all on scalable architectures, efficient development and operations processes, and the ability to deliver new services faster.
"This award means a lot to us because it reflects exactly what we have been focusing on for years: combining technical AWS expertise with measurable value for our customers. Cloud is not an end in itself for us. What matters is what companies can do better, faster or more easily with it. So the award belongs just as much to our team as to our customers, who walk this path together with us."

One key factor behind the award is copebit's consistent use of generative AI (GenAI) in customer projects. Around 25 percent of copebit's projects are already delivered with AWS technologies such as Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore. In December 2025, copebit also became the first Swiss company to achieve the AWS Generative AI Competency, following almost 1,000 hours of training and four successfully delivered customer projects.
“Now the pattern has flipped: when we want to move faster on AWS, we pull copebit in early rather than after we hit the wall. They know our architecture as well as we do, so a decision that used to cost us weeks of investigation takes one conversation. That is what has accelerated our AWS journey — not just the build, but how quickly we can keep changing it.”

The winners of the Regional AWS Partner Awards are determined using a range of metrics covering the growth and performance of the participating companies. The underlying data sets and calculations were verified by Canalys to ensure an objective assessment.
